Interior Inspection Process

At the time you move in, we will give you a copy of our inspection report indicating the condition we found the property to be in prior to your possession.

According to your contract, you have 7 business days in which to report back your opinion of the condition of the property.

To complete your inspection, please DO NOT RUN A COPY OF THE REPORT THAT YOU RECEIVE FROM VALLEY INVESTMENT PROPERTIES-----KEEP THAT COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS.

On a separate sheet of paper, using your own format, please note any differences you may find between your opinion of the condition and what we listed on the report provided to you. On the same sheet of paper, make a list of any needed repairs. We will then use this as a work order for our maintenance department.

Upon the return to Valley Investment Properties, bring two (2) copies of your inspection report so that we may stamp those “received”. We suggest you keep a copy of the report you return to us, so that we will both have the same information available for reference in the future.

As stated in your rental agreement, unless you provide information for our files that alters the condition stated on the report prior to your taking possession, our inspection sheet will be the basis for legal and security deposit matters in the event we are ever in dispute after you vacate the unit.

Thank you for promptly completing the inspection report and returning it to us. It is very important to the terms of your contract and the refunding of your security deposit.

Thank you.
